West Coast Express

Overview
West Coast Express is Vancouver's Commuter Rail system. Currently, there is one line between the Vancouver Waterfront east to Mission City. Like many commuter systems, West Coast is set up as a "round trip" system, offering travel only in one direction at peak travel times. In the case of Vancouver, westbound trains only run in the morning, then head east in the afternoon.
WCE trainsets are identical to the locomotives and bi-level multiple unit cars seen in Toronto, Los Angeles, and nearby Seattle. When operating, locomotives push the trains into Waterfront, and pull trains back to the east.
Stations (from east to west) are Waterfront, Port Moody, Coquitlam Central, Port Coquitlam, Pitt Meadows, Maple Meadows, Port Haney, and Mission City.
