Notes:

Ceramic mosaic tile murals. The 12 framed mosaic panels, by the children of Public School 41 in conjunction with artist Lee Brozgol (credited as Brozgold but the artist legally changed his name), depict the history of Greenwich Village. Plaques near the panels provide a "key" to who's-who in the 12 mosaic panels (a brochure was also available in a rack near the token booths when the art was first installed but it only had one printing). The names of the panels are: "Bohemians", "Rebels", "Founders", and "Providers".
