Woodlawn (IRT Woodlawn Line)

Woodlawn Station · Opened 4/15/1918

Woodlawn is the next and last stop. There are two abandoned side platforms. While I do not have specifics, I believe that they must have used the side platforms to unload and the center platform to load such as was designed at 59th St./Columbus Circle and the other Bronx IRT terminals. There is also evidence here of old style signs on the center platform (the signs themselves having been covered up with new style signs). The mezzanine is brick.
